Benson Ranch is a breeding and training facility on 360 acres of

beautiful, gently rolling hills and open meadows. Conveniently located

6 miles off of Interstate 5, and just 40 miles North of the California

border, the training facility features a permanent round pen, arena,

cones and barrels courses in addition to  permanent Trail and Obstacle

courses. There are over three miles of Driving paths winding through the

woods and open fields. Benson Ranch hosts educational events for

Miniature Donkeys and their owners throughout the year using their very

large granary building as a meeting/lecture hall. Participants bring their

donkeys and camp at the Ranch if they wish. Housing for the donkeys

as well as meals for the participants are all provided.

Benson Ranch was established in 1992. With the purchase of the

Cooke herd in 2006, Benson Ranch's breeding program grew to 100

carefully selected Miniature Donkeys from all over the US and Canada.

Benson Ranch believes Miniature Donkeys should be beautiful, athletic

and trainable, with superior conformation and a sweet disposition.

Benson Ranch breeds donkeys of consistent quality using proven

genetic backgrounds and is very proud of what they produce.
