Crown Meadow
is located in the Heart of the Willamette
Valley in Oregon, between Stayton and Scio,
just 25 minutes from Interstate 5 and Salem.
Crown Meadow raises and trains top quality
Registered Miniature Donkeys, provides
private boarding, and puts up 60 acres of
hay each year. Set in the foothills of the
Cascades it is not uncommon to see Red-tail
hawks, Bald Eagles, foxes, and even “it's
own little herd” of 4 deer that live by the
outdoor arena when you come to visit.

Crown Meadow has been raising Miniature Donkeys
since 1989. The herd hovers right around 40
donkeys, give or take, which provides for the
opportunity to give each one the care and
attention that they require. This shows whenever
anyone comes to visit and they are surrounded by
a group of donkeys wanting to be the center of
it all. There is a selection of colors, although
Crown Meadow prefers not to focus on any one color as they
are all beautiful. Crown Meadow jacks are
Champions themselves or from championship
bloodlines. Crown Meadow selectively breeds and
likes to breed for conformation and athleticism.
There is no feeling in the world like being in
the cart behind a well balanced donkey and
knowing you look fabulous together. In the years
that Crown Meadow has been breeding, they have
refined the herd to contain top quality, and
correct in conformation, jacks, jennets and
geldings. Whether you are looking for breeding
stock, a show partner or a loving pet to enhance
your life, Crown Meadow has something for
everyone. |
