To ensure adequate time to provide the love and care for each

individual animal, Legendary Farms limits the herd size to approx 30.

Legendary Farm's breeding program emphasizes outstanding

conformation, loving personalities and sound bloodlines. Much of

Legendary Farm's breeding foundation is based upon the Cobra

bloodline which is unique and has been influential in many highly

respected farms across the country. The goal to combine the

outstanding attributions of the Cobra line with complimentary stock

from other highly respected breeders is Legendary Farm's most

important part of the breeding program. Miniature Donkeys are not a

hobby or just a business for Richard and Katrina, they are their passion.

Animals have always been a focal point of Richard's and Katrina's lives.

Katrina has raised and shown dogs; Salukis, Whippets, Greyhounds and

Borzoi for over 30 years. Some of her dogs have been recognized as

top winners in the country. She continues to occasionally show & judge

at AKC events. Richard Fleener has always loved animals and grew up in

rural Iowa with an assortment of dogs, cats and livestock. Richard &

Katrina are hands on every day with the animals  and ensure the

highest degree of care and socialization for each one.
