My start with miniature donkey training began the summer of 2008.  I was riding/training a couple mules for Sue Myers, owner of Moonshine Meadows.  Two months before the Eugene, Oregon show I was given a string of donkey's to train for in-hand competition.  We competed and did fairly well for our first time out.  When returning to Idaho, I went to work on learning to drive.  Prairie Brae Thor was my first project for driving.  Thor was a five year old jack and a decent handful.  2009 was Thor's first year out competing in the NMDA shows as a versatile competitor.  Prairie Brae Thor was awesome in the show ring and a great companion.  Sue and Larry offered Thor for sale this fall and of course I could not let him go.  He now resides at my home.  Moonshine Meadows has given me an amazing experience working with all the donkey's. Nothing is better in life than enjoying the work you do.  Thank you Sue & Larry Myers.  Moonshine Meadows donkey's will be making a name for themselves for years to come.  Thank you to everyone for your kindness at the shows.  I look forward to 2010 show season.
