Little
Motown is a distinctive black jack, well known
throughout North America. Over the years, he has
produced foals that are easily identifiable by their
conformation, color, movement and presence. For these
reasons, Motown's genetics contribute significantly to
many successful breeding programs. Donkeys sired by
Motown continue to win in show rings throughout Canada
and the US.
Dr. Suzy Burnham is quoted as stating that Little
Motown is the best moving Miniature Donkey she has ever
seen. He moves like a Dressage horse. The Cooke's report
that this is one of the qualities that Motown
consistently passes on to his offspring.
At the young age of 21, Little Motown has moved from the
Cooke Livestock in Canada to Moonshine Meadows in Idaho
where he is breeding jennets with great enthusiasm.
Part of the deal is that his new owner, Sue Myers has to
give him a chocolate donut once a week-his favorite
thing next to breeding jennets. |
