PROFILE:
BR Calispell is a
gorgeous young gelding. He has a short,
wide, well shaped head with a large
expressive eye. He has a short back,
deep hip, correct legs, and a nice wide
chest.
His dam, Heiken's Ark Rebecca has been a
top producer in the Circle C herd. Her
two year old black jennet foal sold
through the Cooke sale for $15,000 and
was the high seller for that year. Her
yearling daughter, who was also black,
sold for $9200 at the same sale. Rebecca
is a consistent producer of high quality
foals as is seen in Calispell.
His sire, Circle C Legend, has added his
best to this foal. Legend is one of
Benson Ranch's
best herdsires and
every one of his foals is highly
anticipated. He has sired
Champion after Champion.
Calispell has what it takes to be a top
performance gelding. He has that "Red
Lightening spark" and it's hard to take
your eyes off of him!
Calispell won his yearling jack class at
the 2009 Wine Country Classic before he
was gelded.
Calispell placed 2nd in his Yearling All
Sexes Class at the 2009 Salem State
Fair.
Clispell placed 2nd in his large
Yearling Jack class at the 2009 Northern
California Miniature Donkey Show. He's
off to a great start!!!! |
