Facility:
Lazy J Mules and Donkeys is located in Plum Grove, Texas. Just off Hwy. 59 about 50 miles north of Houston, Plum Grove is a nice quiet place to live and raise donkeys and mules. Lazy J Mules and Donkeys takes pride in producing performance animals. They enjoy the show circuit and take pride in continuing their animals' training and education so that they can continue to advance their skills, improving not only the animals, but their own performance with each competition. They enjoy all levels and disciplines from the show ring, combined driving, endurance riding, and leisure rides down the trail.
Lazy J animals are taught to lead, load, stand for clipping, and all the things that they will encounter as they venture out to compete. The also have the manners they need to be cared for and loved at home. Many of the miniatures are handled and shown by youth exhibitors. Their herd sire “Circle Z Shadow” continues to produce miniature donkeys that have the flash and the movement that are desired in the show ring.
Comments:
Rose has served as show and events coordinator for many of the major stocks shows and Gulf Coast Donkey and Mule Association shows for over 15 years. Richard and Rose have the experience to help you find the perfect donkey.
