Quarter Moon Ranch has bred both the 2003 AND 2007 NMDA National Champion Jack and Best of Breed. Their donkeys have won NMDA, ADMS, ACOSA and European National Championship titles as well as grand champion titles all across the US. Their motto is THE PROOF IS IN THE PROGENY! Quarter Moon Ranch has been breeding miniature donkeys since 1992. The ranch is located in central Texas between Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio. Quarter Moon Ranch breeds miniature donkeys for the show ring, to begin or add to a breeding program, to drive in competition or around the ranch, or just to take home and love forever. Quarter Moon Ranch does not breed for a specific color or size, but breeds for conformation and highly socialized donkeys that are a joy to have around the ranch.
Comments:
Carolyn Christian is the organizer of the Rio Brazos Miniature Donkey Expos that were held in 1998, 2000, and 2006. Carolyn and Pete have been awarded Honorary Ambassadors of the Breed by both the National Miniature Donkey Association and the American Donkey and Mule Society for the creation of the Rio Brazos Miniature Donkey Expos and their promotion of the breed. Carolyn authors for both NMDA and ADMS and many other publications, including several articles on The Donkey Show Site.
